Tara Hannigan England is the CEO and co-owner of Blue Elephant Ventures, a holding company that oversees two mission-driven businesses committed to making a meaningful impact in their communities.

She leads Ellie Mental Health, an outpatient mental health clinic with locations in Indiana, Kentucky, and Massachusetts. Under Tara’s leadership, Ellie is expanding access to high-quality mental health care, addressing a critical need across the communities it serves.

She also owns and operates Big Blue Swim School in Noblesville, Indiana, where children are empowered to learn life-saving swimming skills and unlock their full potential in the water.

Before launching her entrepreneurial ventures, Tara spent over 20 years in the asset management industry, holding senior roles in sales and marketing. Most recently, she served as Director of Mutual Fund Distribution at International Value Advisers, where she helped drive growth through strategic client relationships and targeted distribution initiatives.

Tara is deeply committed to community service and regularly volunteers—often alongside her daughter—to support local causes. She believes strongly in giving back and creating positive change close to home.

Tara is a holds a BA in History and Political Science from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

She resides in Carmel, Indiana, with her husband, Gavin, and their three children.
